The Challenge

Major food manufacturer Rich Products needed packaging for a limited-time-offer product they were creating for a major limited-service restaurant (LSR) chain. The problem? They needed to find the right packaging solution and get it to market—in just three weeks. In addition, the bags would be stored beside the cookies—inside the freezers—to make execution easy for franchisees.

 

The Solution

Fischer is well versed at turning around high-quality products with very little lead time. We developed a standard #604 plain bag customized in bundles and poly-wrapped at smaller counts. Working closely with Rich Products, the team was able to deliver on what seemed to be an impossible task for the LSR. The launch was so successful, the restaurant has run the same offer twice since the initial launch—and is contemplating adding the cookie as a standard menu item.
